The MES lighting product portfolio “Magnum OPUS” serves the both the needs of lighting OEMS looking to design-in and offer “control ready” solutions to their customers and also provides end users cost effective devices to retrofit existing spaces for occupancy control and daylight harvesting. Our products include DALI, 0-10V and PWM with various form factors for both high bay and low bay fixture integration. Our light switches and sensors and wireless and battery-free.
The MES HVAC product portfolio includes a variety of thermostats, temperature sensing products as well as environmental monitoring products. These HVAC products allow end users to reduce energy consumption by up to 40 percent. The Mx-EBOX allows us to integrate these wireless HVAC end devices into BACnet based building automation systems.
MES recognizes the growing importance placed on the role that wireless plays in big data delivery. Our wireless and battery-free sensors are critical data transfer portals. We continue to grow and expand our product offering to include both EnOcean as well as WIFI, BTLE and LoRa.
The MES product line includes devices to monitor, meter and control plugged in devices. Plug loads account for roughly 25% of total electricity consumed within office buildings.
Not only does MES have significant expertise in wireless hardware products, but we have our own software development team that helps enhance our offering by providing remote visibility, remote control and access through mobile devices. Furthermore, we customize software to meet customer needs. Magnum has also leveraged industry leading partnerships as we usher in the new era of IoT.
To enhance the scalability of our wireless products, MES provides critical infrastructure products that either translate data from protocol to protocol, or intelligent “brains” that collect, analyze and control products based upon software driven parameters. While any MES product combination can work stand alone, software or the integration to a BAS, helps to extend and expand the capabilities and utilization of the key building data we provide.
