Under the partnership, FLS will market, promote and distribute Magnum’s wireless lighting control products. The partnership will focus on Magnum’s new OPUS line of fixture-integrated smart lighting products. In a press statement, Magnum claims its OPUS fixture nodes enable individual fixture control for both high bay and low bay luminaires, covering DALI, PWM and 0-10V dim-to-off compatibility. Mike Giorgi, CEO of Magnum, said: “We recognized the substantial advantages in partnering with a large semiconductor distributor. “Future Lighting Solutions is already strongly positioned with a host of lighting OEMs and we also value how their team is uniquely poised on the forefront of wireless technologies. “We see this strategic partnership as beneficial to reach a global audience of manufacturers to enable smart, energy efficient lighting products,” reiterated Mike.
